The 9th International Conference on Art and Design Education
(ICADE) is an annual international forum organized by the Faculty of Art and
Design Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Held in a hybrid format on
September 24, 2026, the conference brings together scholars, educators,
artists, designers, researchers, industry professionals, and policymakers from
around the world to share knowledge, research, and innovative practices in
arts, design, education, and digital transformation.
Under the theme “Innovation and Creativity in Arts, Design,
and Digital Transformation in the Era of Globalization: Addressing the
Challenges of Sustainable 21st-Century Education and Industry,” ICADE 2026
responds to the growing need for creative and sustainable solutions in a
rapidly changing world shaped by artificial intelligence, digital technologies,
and global interconnectedness. As education and creative industries face unprecedented
opportunities and challenges, the conference provides a platform to explore how
innovation, creativity, and cultural values can drive meaningful
transformation.
Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ICADE
2026 encourages interdisciplinary dialogue on quality education, technological
